  • (ab)m = ambm
  • (am)n = amn
  • Fractional Exponents

  • (am)/(an) = am-n
  • a-m= 1/(am)

Difference of Squares

Rules of Zero

  • 0/x = 0 where x is not equal to 0.
  • a0 = 1
  • 0a = 0
  • a*0 = 0
  • a/0 is undefined (you can't do it)
